About Hope for Widows Foundation

The founders of Hope for Widows know how hard it is to pick up the pieces when a husband, and often father passes. It can be devastating for even the strongest of women.  Immediately the burdens of the spouse’s role are hefted upon the shoulders of the grieving widow who is neither financially, mentally, physically nor emotionally equipped to deal with these new responsibilities.  Our hope is to mitigate this feeling of being totally overwhelmed by providing immediate contact, lasting support and a wealth of resources to widowed women across the country.

First trip ever took: I'm not exactly sure what the first trip I ever took was, but one of my earliest vacation memories was when my family and I went to Italy for a friend's wedding. I had so much fun! I  just remember thousands and thousands pigeons that would land on my shoulder and everyday we would go to a different gelato stand. I also remember seeing living statues in the street and even though I didn't understand a word they said, I still made some pretty great friends!
Secret Pleasure: My secret pleasure would probably have to be Oreos...they are definitely my biggest weakness!

What do you want to accomplish in your life?

Some of the things I hope to accomplish are finishing college and becoming a vet with an animal rescue center. I hope to help kids find hidden musical talents and to volunteer for programs that are in need such as the red cross and other amazing organizations.
