Natalie Murray is no stranger to pageantry. Like most little girls she grew up watching the Miss America Pageant on TV and remembers wanting to be Miss America one day. When she was old enough she entered into her first local pageant and competed 3 times before placing 2nd attendant. She put pageantry aside for a while and started a family. After having her second child she decided it was time to start competing again and trained for a fitness competition. She placed first at Ms. Fitness Utah and qualified to competed at the Ms. Fitness USA finals in Las Vegas. She then went on to compete for Mrs. Utah United States in 2007, 2008, and 2009 where she placed in the top ten all three years and top five in 2007 and 2008.
Dance has been a big part of Natalie's life. In fact, she began taking ballet at 4 years old and trained for 12 years with Clytie Adams School of Ballet in Kaysville. She danced with her high school drill team, and went on to be an assistant coach with that team for three years. She has taught and choreographed for almost 20 years and still loves it. Natalie loves the self improvement that pageants provide. She wouldn't be who she is today if it wasn't for the opportunities that competing in pageants has provided. They have given her life skills that she continues to learn each time she competes. She says that for her, it's not about winning the crown, even though that would be the icing on the cake, it's about the growth that happens from the inside that counts. In fact a poem that she recieved from her first pageant director explains exactly how she feels about pageants. Natalie is married with 5 children and lives in Layton.

Gwen Peterson is the Founder, President & Chairperson of Hope for Widows Foundation.
Born and raised in Southern California, Gwen enjoys a fast
paced and people filled environment. While finishing up her
undergraduate degree from the University of Utah, Gwen found the arena
where her skills were best matched with her passion, which was in
management at Gap Inc. Within 2.5 years, she took a small Gap store with
35 employees grossing $1.4 million in
sales to 75+ employees grossing $2.8 million in sales. Her store became
the #1 store in the western region of the US which afforded her many
regional opportunities.
She was recruited from the retail sales world to headhunting in Corporate America working with franchised companies such as Ben and Jerry’s, BP Oil, and Huddle House Restaurants. Gwen created strong relationships with Presidents, CEO’s and Directors as she worked hand and hand to connect the right candidate to the right company. Gwen was rookie of the year her first year with FranSearch, became the second top billing recruiter in the company her second year by billing $312,700, and became the top woman headhunter in America in the franchise industry.
In 2004 Gwen left the high powered corporate world to work closer with her husband in the real estate and construction world. They have fix and flipped many properties, dabbled in hard money lending, and currently own a cabinet and countertop company. In a trying economy, Gwen and her husband were able to start a company without any outside funding and grown it to produce over $2 million in sales and 23 employees. She currently resides in Kaysville with her husband and three children.
