Deadlines!!

Ladies! These are the deadlines! please keep to these deadlines!! If you have questions please let me know!

*Sponsor baskets are due June 20th

*Contestants can sell tickets until July 10th
*Online sales of Tickets start July 11 and go until August 2nd
You can also get tickets at the door.

*July 19th ALL AD'S are due
*July 20th All Music is due to Micheal

*All Miss needs to be registered for the Children's Miracle Network  by July 25th

2013 Miss Davis County Sweets Gala and Auction

We are so excited to announce that the 2013 Miss Davis County Pageant Sweets Gala and Auction

 is going to be June 28th at the Farmington Library from 5pm-8pm !! 

So Contestants make sure to get your sponsored baskets in!! THIS NIGHT IS GOING TO BE EPIC!!

This is a very special night that we will formally introduce our contestants and recognize their sponsors. This is a time to celebrate and be together for a great event! Everyone is invited and we'd love to see everyone. 

Notes~

Contestants you need to get your sponsor's baskets in to a member of the committee by June 20th. 

Contestants get to wear anything they would like so glam it up!

There will be a live band and dancing after wards. 

You will need to find an escort. We would prefer it to be your father or an older brother. This escort will just escort you across the dance floor and so a short dance with you.

Entrance will be on the west side of the building. And through the library until they close at 6 pm.

Exit is out a door on the west side of the building right by the event room.

I thought that I would share with you an example of an email that you can copy and paste and send to potential sponsors/ supporters.

We are excited to announce that the Miss Davis County is hosting a Sweet's Gala and auction fundraiser to help raise funds for the scholarship. We are asking all of our sponsors and supporters of the pageant if they would be willing to donate a gift basket to be auctioned at the pageant. This gift basket can be of any value amount and can contain anything that you would like to donate. We are so thankful to business like yours that help keep the scholarship going year after year. In exchange for your donation we can offer you ad space in our program, our blog as well as our facebook page. Our event is scheduled for June 29th and would love to see you there!

Extended Deadline!!

Ok ladies!!

Notice to all moms:

NOTICE: We love all of our contestants! We want each of you to succeed and be strong. We know that you can accomplish this through our workshops. We are asking all our contestants to come ready to learn and work and without their moms. This is a time for the contestants to learn and grow and they need to do this on their own. Mom's you have done a great job with your daughters and we are excited to watch them grow as well.
We look forward to seeing all the contestants at our next workshop!

Correct Address!

Ladies I am so sorry there was a typo with our Judges Chair address! its 457 Jay Street Kaysville.
All paperwork needs to be turned into our Judges Chair, Gwen. You can turn them in at the workshops or at her address at 457 Jay Street Kaysville.

Sponsors

Just wanted to remind everyone to get in your sponsors! The requirements for both Teen and Miss is that you get one page sponsored. It doesnt matter how you break up the one page but it needs to equal $200. Anything that you sale over that puts you in the race to pick your place. The person that raises the most gets to pick her place in the pageant!
There are some ways you can work this:
If you are trading a sponsorship ad for goods, such as a dress or hair and make up that's fine just make sure you hit the $200 mark with your other sponsors.

Your sponsors will be highlighted on our blog and facebook page as well as in our ad and mentioned through out the competition.
All sponsor ad's are due by July 19th!!

Gift Baskets

So I've been getting a lot of questions about the gift baskets that need to be donated for the Davis County Scholarship Pageant's Sweets Gala. The gift basket needs to be something that can be auctioned off to help raise money for the pageant. This basket can contain gift certificates, sweets, make up donated from a Mary Kay or someplace, jewelry, it can be a free game of bowling or laser tag, it could be summer toys, clothing, arts and crafts,

ANYTHING really, use your imagination and your sponsors and I'm sure you can come up with a great basket.

2013 Theme

The 2013 theme for the Miss Davis County and Miss Davis County Outstanding Teen is
                                           "Ready or Not here I come!"
Alex and Ellie chose this theme because it's a time in your life to step up and say here I am! With the help of the workshops you will be able to put your best foot forward and sparkle. This is the time of your life to find out who you are, where your going and tell the world that you are confident, strong and beautiful! We hope that the words in this song can resonate in you and spark your light because ready or not come August 2nd it's your time to shine!

Scholarship

We are so excited to announce that Weber State University  has sponsored scholarships for the new Miss Davis County 2013 and her royalty!!! We are so thankful for them and their support!!

The contract are available!! at the bottom of "Contestant Paper work" is the Miss application and the teen application can be found on the "Teen paper work" tab! Print those off and get them back to me by May 18!

The state has released a new contract that every contestant needs to fill out. I will post it as soon as possible and let you all know!!
