I thought that I would share with you an example of an email that you can copy and paste and send to potential sponsors/ supporters. 

Hello (Enter business name or personal contact),

We are excited to announce that the Miss Davis County is hosting a Sweet's Gala and auction fundraiser to help raise funds for the scholarship. We are asking all of our sponsors and supporters of the pageant if they would be willing to donate a gift basket to be auctioned at the pageant. This gift basket can be of any value amount and can contain anything that you would like to donate. We are so thankful to business like yours that help keep the scholarship going year after year. In exchange for your donation we can offer you ad space in our program, our blog as well as our facebook page. Our event is scheduled for June 29th and would love to see you there!

_____              Double Platinum $500 = Grand Sponsor, Full Page Ad, reserved seating at Pageant, 2 complimentary tickets to the pageant

_____              Diamond $1500 = Grand Sponsor, Full Page Ad: Prime location in program, reserved seating at pageant, 5 complimentary tickets to pageant
